Venom 是一份受到CRUX启发而独立开发的滚动式Linux发行版，面向有经验的用户。
Venom Linux is a lightweight source-based linux distribution targetting experienced users.
Venom采用SysV init作为首要init系统，并采用类BSD的ports作为软件包系统，相应的包管理器为定制工具scratchpkg。该发行版提供了基于Openbox窗口管理器的简单图形桌面，另外还有字符模式的系统安装程序。
