AryaLinux是基于源代码的GNU/Linux发行，按照Linux From Scratch(LFS)的指南而组装起来。AryaLinux发行使用源代码/ports形式的包管理，其定制的包管理器叫做alps。系统管理中貌似引入了systemd的管理方式。
AryaLinux is a source-based Linux distribution inspired by LFS/BLFS. We use bash scripts for building the entire distribution ground up. As of now, AryaLinux has Mate and XFCE spins as the supported desktop environments but suport for other desktops is in progress.
AryaLinux is a GNU/Linux based operating system that is built by building source code of the various components packages that it comprises of. In more geeky terms its a source based Linux Distribution. Its fast, comprehensive and provides pre-installed applications that are pretty much enough for the day to day user. AryaLinux also provides the flexibility to build your own Linux distribution by providing the necessary tools to do so.
