ClearOS是一款专门为中小型企业量身打造的网络管理服务器操作系统。ClearOS采用OpenLDAP作为目录服务，将公司内的用户集中同一管理，同时可以与多种其它应用进行整合实现公司内部单点登录的功能，集成的MRGT可以轻松的监听 网络环境内网络状况从而进行管理和控制。同时ClearOS还集成了DHCP、VPN、防火墙、网关、病毒防护、访问控制、代理等多种服务功能，完全可以 由用户自己定义配置使用，十分适合中小型规模的企业内部部署使用。
ClearOS基于CentOS Linux开发，具有极高的稳定性和极强的扩展性，不但可以使用ClearOS自己的软件，还兼容CentOS的软件系统，因此扩展性十分强，同时又省去了部署人员很多工作。ClearOS是免费的软件，同时也是开源软件，同样ClearOS提供收费的技术支持。ClearOS 7有三个版本：社区版、家庭版和商业版。所有版本可以从相同的ISO处安装，但每个版本提供不同repos的混合应用，支持和服务，以满足不同环境的需求。
